National Day For Truth and Reconciliation

Today is National Day For Truth and Reconciliation

On this day, we encourage you to wear orange shirts.

Wearing an orange shirt raises awareness of the impacts of the residential school system that are still felt to this day.

That every child matters.

We honour the lived experiences and resilience of Indigenous Peoples.

We encourage you to embark on this lifelong learning process. Please take the time today to listen, to reflect, to unlearn, and to learn.

Scentuals acknowledges that we are on the traditional, ancestral, and unceded territories of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Skwxwú7mesh (Squamish), Tsəl̓ílwətaʔɬ /Selilwitulh (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations.

We are committed to using our platform to share important resources.

We fully support the Indigenous communities and Indigenous-led calls for truth and reconciliation.
