Intro

Did you know that peppermint is actually a natural hybrid made from two different kinds of mint? Peppermint or Mentha piperita, is a cross between spearmint (Mentha spicata) and water mint (Mentha aquatica). Dating back to ancient Egypt, Peppermint was used as a form of currency- which is where the term “mint” came from when referring to the place money is made. Peppermints uses expanded to freshen breath, treat digestion issues, ease headaches, and aid pain as well as other medical ailments.
